Choplin is a modern and clear geometric slab serif with a sturdy heart.
Euphorigenic is a playful, slab-serif headline font.
A mix between tradition and innovation, Basil is a unique humanist slab serif well suitable for broad range of design projects – editorial, logotype, poster, etc.
A contemporary, versatile Slab Serif, Klinic is a workhorse that marries personality and functionality.
A Geometric Postmodern slab seriffed face. The serifs feature simplistic rounded terminals and its stroke is uniform. Ripe was designed to be a practical typeface. Each character is distinct, yet consistent. Its subtle differences are clear enough to be easily read at both high and low resolutions, perfect for print, web and screen media.
Nexa Slab draws from the rich traditions of the classic Neo-Grotesque slab serif fonts such as Lubalin Graph, Rockwell and Memphis, which conceal the richness of typesetting text in its crucial advertising function. Just like these fonts, it’s design is subject to rational, carefully thought-out, thick and thin bars with a low contrast between them. The letters are characterized by the strict geometry and square proportions of the original, extra-fortified by suitably balanced slab serifs.
Flagship Slab Rounded, adapting from the initial construction of slab serif font and transformed his side into a rounded, with typical slab serifs are static, dynamic, and clean.
Silverfake is a new contemporary slab serif wide free font designed Alexey Frolov a.k.a MRfrukta. He brings us some unique “old style” feeling which is presented in contemporary curves that make the font applicable for both – retro and modern designs. Silverfake contains only capital letters but also some alternate characters included.
Corki is condensed slab serif typeface suitable mostly for headlines. It’s uppercase only and comes in 4 different styles: normal, rounded and their alternatives with the so called “tuscan” styled serifs and YES all of them are free!
Berlin is a free font family including 4 versions (Berlin, Berlina, Slaberlin and Überlin) each of those provided in 3 different weights.
Aleo Free Font is a contemporary typeface designed as the slab serif companion to the Lato font by Łukasz Dziedzic. Aleo has semi-rounded details and a sleek structure, giving it a strong personality while still keeping readability high. The family comprises six styles: three weights (light, regular and bold) with corresponding true italics.
A text font with character and great legibility
Korneuburg Slab was created as a semester project. It’s based on Korneuburg Display, which was influenced by the neoclassicist city Korneuburg in Lower Austria and especially the forms of it’s multiple archways.
Corduroy is a hard working and sturdy slab-serif display font designed to make your headlines stand out and be assertive.
Elena Kowalski, a type designer from Ufa, Russia created this elegant slab serif font and has graciously offered it for free download.
Bobber Free Typeface
It’s grid based and it’s called Bobber because it’s vintage style. If you like it and want to use it, just give me a heads up. It is totally free, even for commercial use.
WESTON is a new rounded slab-serif font designed by Pavel Pavlov for FONTFABRIC.
Distractor free typeface
With Distractor I wanted to make it look like a hand printed typeface, like the old letterpress typeface that look so amazing. I started off my creating textures using a print roller and ink. This would gave me enough design grunge to to give it that hand printed look and feel.
Monospaced black slab-serif without any philosophy or idea, it doesn’t pretend to be anything sophisticated, it is as simple as chewing gum or a can of soda. Simple and lively typeface Juan has a ascetic friend.

Musket is a robust and slightly condensed slab serif perfect for heading and optimized for small sizes.
Sanchez Slab comprises 12 variants, ranging from extra light to black, each of the same x-height. Regular and Italic variants are available for free.
The Newslab font family consists of 16 variants and 8 weights, with italics. Well-suited for editorial projects, logotypes, posters, etc. Regular and italic variants are available for free.
